LITTLETON, NEW HAMPSHIRE

Peoples National Bank opened in Littleton on August 26, 1966, with Governor John King presiding. In 1978, Peoples was sold to a group of Canadian investors, who negotiated the sale of its interest to Connecticut River Bancorp of Charlestown, New Hampshire, in 1981. In 2000, Connecticut River Bank became the sole stockholder and merged the two banks. In 2014, Mascoma Bank acquired Connecticut River Bank.
