BURLINGTON, VERMONT, PINE STREET

This location was built in 1899 (the same year Mascoma Bank was established) and was the factory headquarters of the Malted Cereal Company, later known as Maltex, which produced cereal and other malted products through the early 1970s. The company was famous for its maple-flavored cereal: Maypo.

Now, in addition to hosting a Mascoma Bank branch, the Maltex Building holds four floors of artwork curated by the Burlington City Arts.

Mascoma Bank opened this branch in January of 2020, and spent the spring navigating the pandemic and figuring out ways to safely serve customers.
