Mascoma Bank established a presence in New London on October 30, 1999, as part of the acquisition of the New London Trust Company from Sun Life Assurance of Canada.

Our current New London branch on Newport Road is the second location for the Bank in the community. The site of the original New London Trust Bank, which included a drive-up window, was located inside Cricenti’s Market, where Hannaford Supermarket stands today. In 1987, developer Frank Cricenti built a new supermarket, which meant MacKenna’s Restaurant and Mascoma Bank needed to move to new buildings.
